Toyota Meals Per Hour
The Toyota "Meals Per Hour" campaign was a social impact initiative that applied Toyota’s efficiency-driven production principles to Hurricane Sandy disaster relief. Partnering with the Food Bank for New York City, Toyota used its Lean manufacturing expertise to optimize food packaging processes, increasing meal distribution from 25 to 450 meals per hour.
The campaign was amplified through a compelling documentary-style video and social media storytelling, driving awareness and engagement while showcasing Toyota’s commitment to using its expertise for social good. The initiative not only improved real-world impact but also strengthened Toyota’s brand as a leader in innovation with purpose.
